Looking for real estate is one of the most important decisions in the life of middle class families around the world. In US and Canada purchasing a house is usually assisted through a real estate agent but it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure they pick what is right for them and that their choice meets their needs.
The first thing when looking for a house is location. A good location for a house means it is a safe neighborhood with extremely low or non existent crime rate and proximity to good schools if the family has young children who need a decent education.
location for the house should be such that it should be close to the grocery store, a good clinic or hospital so that if the wife is pregnant and is on her first, second or third child, she can easily drive or commute to her doctor for an appointment. If the children get hurt or they are sick the parents should be in a position to rush them to the clinic.
The neighborhood should be quiet and the roads should be clean and well lighted during the night with trees and gardens alongside both sides of the road. There should be parks and restaurants within five minutes of driving and ten to fifteen minutes of walking so that parents and their children can enjoy a lively atmosphere.
It is also important that the house if close to public transport such as bus stops and subway system so that if one of the parents or both want to avoid driving they can take the subway to work.
